City biathlon enters into the third round on Sunday 16 August 2020 // Early Birds watch out: Tickets for the early bird discount, but only while stocks last!
Enjoying Germany´s favourite winter sport in summer is a must in Wiesbaden! On Sunday 16 August 2020, top names of the biathlon will engage in a thrilling race through Wiesbaden´s city centre. This year´s top ZDF broadcast ratings demonstrate that biathlon can captivate just as large an audience in summer as in winter. Cheering crowds welcomed the overall World Cup winners, Johannes Thinges Bø and Dorothea Wierer.
Whether Olympic champions, world champions or overall World Cup winners – spectators can look forward to an impressive starting field next year, too. Following a thrilling chase on a 1.8 km circuit course through the inner city and the Kurpark, biathletes will show their steady hand at an original 50 m small-calibre shooting range on the Bowling Green opposite the Kurhaus.
Seating on the main grandstand & close up upgrade
Next year, the seating areas will be integrated into the grandstand, so that each spectator has an optimal view over the shooting range and can share the thrill of every shot. The strictly limited tickets for the close up area provide an opportunity to get closer to the top athletes than any other spectator. A roaring crowd and much adrenaline guarantee unforgettable moments and memories at the City Biathlon Wiesbaden every year.
